Arc 21 bus

20th Nov 2019

The Arc 21 bus came to our school on Friday 8the November 2019. Each class got to go out to the van and discuss recycling. Some classes were then given time to make things linked to recycling. Below you can see a recount made by P3/4 of their visit to the Arc21 bus.

On Friday 8th November 2019, P3/4 went on the Arc21 bus. We were talking about how to recycle. We were learning about the different things that go into different bins. Noel let us sniff inside a sliver gar to see what it smells like at a landfill site. Next, we passed things around to try and guess what they were made from. We saw toys that were made from yoghurt posts, and shopping bags that were made from juice cartons. We all touched a photo frame that was made from recycled elephant poo. Noel taught us how to make cat and dog bookmarks out of recycled paper. We all had a fantastic time.
