P6/7’s Trip to Delamont Country Park

2nd May 2018

On Wednesday 2nd May 2018 P6/7, Miss McLaughlin, Miss McCullough and Miss McClintock went on a Residential Trip to Delamont Country Park for two nights. Everyone had a fantastic time and got to do lots of fun activities including, canoeing, two nightlines, wall climbing, archery, an adventure walk and an evening round a camp fire!

I loved going to Delamont it was really good! My favourite activity was the adventure walk. The adventure walk was where we got to do lots of fun stuff like going through tunnels, crawling through mud, putting mud on your face and jumping into a river. I liked it because we got to do things that challenged us.

I really liked Delamont because it was really fun and exciting. The wall climbing instructors and Rod were great because they pushed you to do your best and made it fun! The cooks made really tasty meals so I always looked forward to lunch and dinner. I had a great time!!

I had a truly amazing time at Delamont. Its lush green fields and rocky grey mountains were truly a sight to behold. Everything I did there was awesome! From canoeing to wall climbing, from running to a park and back to archery, it was all just awesome!
